Difference: SitePreferences (r7 vs. r6)
SitePreferences
Foswiki's default preferences are located in System.DefaultPreferences, however settings defined here have override priority and should be used for local customisations.
Appearance
Customize logo and tooltip texts:
- Set WIKILOGOIMG WEBLOGONAME = EMS_Full_Logo_Color_40px.png
- Set WIKILOGOALT WIKILOGOIMG = Powered /wiki/pub/Main/SitePreferences/EMS_Full_Logo_Color_40px.png by Foswiki, The Free and Open Source Wiki

Give your site a specific name:
- Set WIKITOOLNAME = Foswiki Eugene Maker Space Wiki
Customize your favicon:
- Set FAVICON = /wiki/pub/System/ProjectLogos/favicon.ico
Customize your top bar background image and color
- Set WEBHEADERART = /wiki/pub/System/PatternSkin/header5.gif
- Set WEBHEADERBGCOLOR = #ffffff
Limits
Maximum size of FileAttachments in KB, 0 for no limit:
- Set ATTACHFILESIZELIMIT = 100000
Registration Approval Process
Registrations must be manually approved by the person listed below.
- Set SKIN = approval,pattern
- Set REGISTRATIONAPPROVAL = Webmaster
- Set REGISTRATIONAPPROVALEMAIL = webmaster@eugeneweb.nos.com
TinyMCE customizations

Finalisation
FINALPREFERENCES locks site-level preferences that are not allowed to be overridden by WebPreferences or user preferences:
